K. Toi Washington-Simon, proprietor of Together with Toi, LLC, is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and Marriage Officiant.

During the course of her career, Toi has worked in the music industry but pivoted, making a decision to work with individuals faced with threats to their mental health and well-being. This career change resulted in her working as a Supervisor and Correctional Counselor at multiple facilities on Rikers Island, an Employee Assistance Professional, a Senior Primary Therapist in a Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services Center, School Counselor, and Academic Advisor for student-athletes at a Division I university.

In addition to her clinical work, Toi offers keynote talks, professional development workshops, and course instruction with the Office of Continuing Education at the Rutgers School of Social Work in New Jersey.
